Abel Getachew

Hello, I’m Abel, an aspiring web developer mainly focused on frontend development. Recently, I’ve also started learning backend development, and I’m really enjoying exploring how things work behind the scenes.

My journey into tech began when I joined Addis Ababa University as a Computer Science student. Even before that, I had developed an interest in programming and problem solving. I remember our IT teacher telling us about different programming languages and how we could use them to build cool things. That idea really stayed with me and sparked my curiosity about creating software.

Currently, I’m in my fourth year pursuing a degree in Computer Science. While studying, I realized that many university courses focus more on theory, so I made an effort to build practical skills that are useful in the real world.

That’s why I started learning web development on my own, beginning with frontend development and now expanding into backend development. At the moment, I’m looking for opportunities to work with a team of developers where I can continue learning, improve my skills, and grow as a developer.
